New York Mammal Survey (NYMS)
The New York Mammal Survey is the first-ever attempt at mapping the statewide distributions of all of New York’s more than 70 species of mammals, from mice to moose. With funding from the NYS DEC, a project team at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry is compiling available mammal data from museums, literature, universities, state agencies, social media, and other sources into an online repository that will be available for public viewing and eventually allow citizen science input. The data collected will help managers know which at-risk mammals occur on their properties and inform the state’s list of endangered and threatened species.

Habitat and Species Management, Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission
The core mission of the Division of Habitat and Species Conservation is to ensure healthy populations of all native species and their habitats on a statewide basis. The division integrates scientific data with applied habitat management for the purpose of maintaining stable or increasing populations of fish and wildlife. Integration efforts focus on the ecosystem or landscape scale to provide the greatest benefits to the widest possible array of fish and wildlife species.

Centre for Ecosystem Science, University of New South Wales
The Centre for Ecosystem Science (CES) aims to be a leader in research, its application and communication of environmental change. The CES has a strong focus promoting the viability of ecosystems through understanding trajectories of change across landscapes and also how they function. Sometimes this focus is on individual species or processes but these primarily provide a focus for the entire ecosystem. In particular, we are interested in models for implementation of scientific research through conservation practices including policy and management.

Society for Conservation Biology, Victoria University of Wellington Chapter
The Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) is an international professional organization dedicated to promoting the scientific study of the phenomena that affect the maintenance, loss, and restoration of biological diversity. The mission of our chapter is to advance the science and practice of conserving biological diversity within and around Wellington, New Zealand.

NYS Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation
The mission of the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is to provide safe and enjoyable recreational and interpretive opportunities for all New York State residents and visitors and to be responsible stewards of our valuable natural, historic and cultural resources.
The Student Conservation Association (SCA)
SCA's mission is to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of our environment and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land.
Rand Laboratory at Brown University
We are interested in understanding how natural selection acts on genes and genomes. A major focus of the lab is to study the mitochondrial genome and its interactions with the nuclear genome, and how this interaction influences animal performance, evolutionary fitness, and aging. A second major interest is how thermal selection influences the genetic composition of populations. The goals of our work are to identify the genetic interactions that allow organisms to adapt to environmental heterogeneity.
EcoHealth Alliance
Building on over 45+ years of groundbreaking science, EcoHealth Alliance is a global environmental health nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting wildlife and public health from the emergence of disease.
